Excellent Hosts, Facilities and Hospitality
Having just spent 4 nights at Hazelwood Lodge we have never been in a Hotel where we feel that the Customer really does come first.
The Hospitality and friendliness of all was what made of short break an experience to remember, so much so that we have rebooked here later this year for another 5 nights.
Breakfast Table presentation was exceptional. Food was hot, and plentiful, with nice touches like Butter Dish with Knife, Napkin Rings and Table Cloths.
The room was large and very clean.
Purpose built and meticulously maintained our luxury guest house, minutes from Bridgend town centre, has received the highest reviews on Tripadvisor from our guests. Designed with the guest in mind, our rooms offer the highest standard of Guest House accommodation in Bridgend, similar to what you would expect to find at a quality hotel.
Built to Gold Business Standard and having received our four star rating from both Visit Wales (formerly the Welsh Tourist Board) and The AA, our guest house offers accommodation in ten spacious en-suite bedrooms, and discrete breakfast dining room. Residents also have access to the carefully tended garden which is set in 2.5 acres of natural parkland alongside the river.
The guest house area has been designed to be completely separate from our home, so whilst you can expect a friendly welcome, you will also be afforded the privacy and freedom you would expect from a small hotel.
